Large Dan is saying that HBO is willing to pay 3 million for a Klitschko-Jennings fight.

Both sides have started talking and are looking at either MSG or Barclays.

Great news. Hopefully they make it.

They offer 3 mil to Klitschko or they split 3 mil between them? I think that Wladimir receives an additional 4 mil from RTL so it's going be nice payday for him.

Great news. Hopefully Jennings takes the fight, I didn't think he would of risked giving up his #1 contender status.

Nothing against Jennings. He seems like a good guy and is an all around good HW but he will quack quack away this current opportunity.

That's a big lay off for Jennings, he should pull a Wilder and fight some bum in Jan as a tune up for Wlad.

Confirmation that HBO wants Jennings, NOT Briggs. This much is clear now.

Wladimir will be able to put on a showcase in the US again with this fight.

They should put Briggs vs Mansour as an undercard.

I agree. Jennings should have stayed busy even if against a low level guy.

Seems he was offered an HBO fight for November, not sure who the opponent was, and declined.

I think that he makes 4 mil (euros) from RTL regardless of the fight, plus the fight revenue, commercials etc (his own promo company is usually in charge of everything). Usually about 7-8 mil per fight I'd say, could be more. HBO money would be just an addition probably.

Against Pulev, his base purse was 5.8 mil, plus the RTL, commercials, revenue etc.

Good for Jennings! He is the most deserved US challenger, and has actually earned his shot!
