"from what I can see at this stage that is Bellew".

Not sure how he has come to that conclusion. Brings me to my next point, I think the Sky matchroom pundits in general lean towards Bellew because of their connection to him. Obviously all the Liverpool lot will and he has done alot of work with Sky since he came over. The likes of the Smiths, Nelsons, Fearon's etc are all pals with Bellew. Cleverly has just come across the water and I think Hearn only took him on for this fight, he pretty much said that was his main objective when signing him.

I still see Bellew as very much the home fighter on bill (not just because it is in Liverpool). Its funny how most on tv are picking Bellew and yet the odds are pretty much 50/50.

For what it is worth I think Cleverly has far more levels than Bellew. Bear in mind he was 24 when the first fight took place (for all Bellew's 16 fight novice nonsense) and as long as the weight is ok and he head is in the right place he could do a number on Bellew.

I've noticed as well that Bellew is painted in a more positive light by sky & most of the sky "pundits" pick him even though it's much more mixed everywhere else, funny in a way because i kinda get the impression that Hearns not as keen on Bellew as some might think

once again the only sniff of waivering from the SKY mantra was big Glenn McCrory...the Bellew promotion has been so biased considering they are both SKY fighters....

I hope Clev decapitates Bellend and silences the whole of Liverpool...
Sky are definately pro Bellend...Smith, Froch (assuming he's on the team tomorow ) have always said Bellew by KO...Clev is like Groves to a lesser extent..he is the away fighter

Do you think the whole of liverpool are behind him? Don't tar us all with same brush. I've been a fan of bellew in past but think he's taken it too far in this build up.

Noticed at the weigh in today Bellew got some music with his entrance & Clev never. Not a biggy but still shows the bias IMO. Clev is a matchroom fighter too & should be given a fair crack.

Just watching a few interviews and so far predictions are as follows:

    Paul Smith: Bellew
    Crolla: Bellew
    Liam Smith: Bellew
    Jamie Moore: Bellew
    Johnny Nelson: Bellew
    Spencer Fearon: Bellew
    Spencer Oliver: Bellew

    Joe Calzaghe: Clev (No surprise)

Please add on if you see anymore but I doubt you will get any more than 20% of Matchroom/Sky connected fighters siding with Clev.

Surprised you haven't followed Paul on twitter and had a pop at him for being so indecisive about picking a winner!

Wow. What an intelligent revelation from Paul Smith.

"I think the man who keeps his head will win the fight'

What an insightful opinion about the fight.

Ugh Froch as a pundit. Whenever he talks it's like a dark cloud has just rolled in on the tv, with his disinterested, arrogant, negative and whiney "I'm the world superstar" attitude. He does nothing but put down other boxers while he's there. Honestly they should leave him at home. His nose ain't meant for tv either.

It's a massive shame Calzaghe didn't slap him around en route to a wide points victory before retiring.

It would have done us a massive favor by keeping Carl's ego in check and presuming Froch wasn't ruined by the fight would certainly have been legacy enhancing for the Welshman.
