I have to confess that I too have given in and ordered it, mate coming round, missus away for the weekend, takeaway and beers plus halving the cost makes it somewhat bearable. Like many have said it's not the money it's what message it's giving sky and matchroom. If lots of pr**k* like me buy it then it will become the norm. I'm a pri*k I accept that and am very sorry
Bloody disgraceful,I would never pay for such a **** card, luckily my wife knows nothing about boxing and she pays the sky bill:smoke
Selling well ? Where did you hear that ? It wasn't Eddie Hearns Twitter feed by any chance was it. I totally get people paying for it ,I'd love nothing more to be watching on my TV in glorious HD too but I'm sticking by my guns on this one. That's not to say I won't be watching it just won't be paying for it. Anyway heres hoping for a dominating Cleverly win hopefully by KO.
I've not ordered it for two reasons. 1. I like boxing and think PPV's are generally bad for the sport. 2. Eddie Hearn said I have to buy it so I need to show fastcar who the boss is.
Well, have a good evening then staring at the walls and hitting the refresh button on boxing websites. Cheers for stopping by.
i ordered the last few cards on franks sky PPV which was headlined by degale and Paul smith and i cant remember who headlined the Birmingham one but it wasn't much better. I ordered haye vs Harrison. This card is miles better than all them three combined. Iv bought a barrell of Jaipur from thornbridge brewery, iv got a Chinese ready to order, in going to Sheffield Wednesday on sky get whooped by Huddersfield, in then gonna watch my beloved blades get 3 points and then in coming home to watch 6 hours of boxing and drink the mentioned barrell. My Saturday is going to be outstanding
Ah **** it, I have ordered it! Just saved £15 on my Sky bill by threatening to remove movies so though why not! Was going to go to the pub to watch it but I'm playing footy this afternoon and its a bit of a trek so by the time I'm home washed and fed it will be well underway. Might stick an acca on all the favourites and cover the cost that way "in going to Sheffield Wednesday on sky get whooped by Huddersfield" - Heres hoping buddy!!
Not against PPVs per se but this isn't a PPV main event and there's no need to have an undercard that big with that many names which is what grates me
as much as I want to watch bellew vs cleverly (not interested in the one sided undercard) I shall not give in and pay £17 for one fight that I want to watch !
