Well yes Froch is very arrogant and I don't like it, but so far he put his money where his mouth is so he deserves some bragging rights IMO.

Groves however doesn't admit any mistakes at all. How will he learn from these two horrible defeats if he's such an arrogant ***** who lacks even a shred of humility? Instead of saying "I tried my best, I'm sorry for the fans but Carl was just a better man those nights. I will go back to the drawing board and figure out what I could've done better".. no he said "Froch was lucky. Im better blablabla"

He doesn't give me the impression that he can improve at all. What could he possibly improve if he sees himself as perfection already?

Exactly and compare how froch reacted to his lose to Ward, afterwards he admitted the better man won and there was no excuses.

Groves keeps whining like a little baby to the point of sounding like a moron who throws his toys out of the pram because he cant get his own way

Actions speak louder than words. I wouldn't read too much into what these guys say.

Froch is the better fighter simple as! Groves just can't get his head round it! His big big chance was in the first fight and he couldn't finish froch off. Froch was going to finish him off but it got stopped early!

I'm really respecting Degale at the minute! He's working hard taking on decent fights!

I hope Degale fights groves next year and beats him!

Groves is half-taking the **** there and showing a degree of self-awareness but he's still deluded. I thought before the second fight that he would get stopped again because his ego is too big, and when you're ego is too big you're incapable of objectivity, and when you lack objectivity you can't pre-empt mistakes that certain objective fighters can pre-empt and do things in training to prevent happening.

Andre Ward will never switch off like Groves did because he's an objective, self-aware individual aware of his own mortality. Those people always have an advantage because they genuinely see the bigger picture and what can go wrong. They are two or three steps ahead. Groves is what is often called 'young and dumb'; too young and dumb to be aware of his weaknesses. He actually needs things to happen to him to learn and accept. Nothing wrong with that in general, everyone does it, but don't try and present yourself as some smug sage when you're not.

Most satisfying knockout in years when Froch detonated that right hand on Groves.

i think you're being a wee bit incorrect there.

Ive heard roch say on more than one occasion that the Ward fight could have went either way, and that Ward used dirty tricks, time wasting, head butts.............

Also Froch has no desire to get back in the ring with Ward. Groves, for whatever crazy reason (money id expect) would love another crack at Froch.

Call it mental (which it is). But at least he'd get in the ring again.

Do you really think Froch would fight Ward again? I certainly dont.

His fan base is still around - let's remember Eddie has got Sauerland on board to use Groves to bolster tonights PPV.

This is what froch said on ward

"He's a very, very good fighter and he beat me fair and square, he outpointed me. But he's messy, he's up close, he's awkward. He really is a bit of a spoiler. He's not somebody I'd be excited about getting in the ring with.

I don't know where in those quotes where froch's mentions that it could have gone either way.

Froch wouldn't want the fight because he knows realistically he'd get beat anyone. Why cheat the public pretending he has the capabilities of beating him when deep down he knows it's unlikely.

You can respect deluded fighters like groves for trying to fleece more money out of the public, but I like honest fighters.

Foch is not deluded and is quit frankwith his intentions.

He wants his last fight for the big money in vegas, he hasn't pretended otherwise.

Or you can respect Groves for not being afraid and wanting to avenge his loss.

    He is a bit.
