Povetkin is a little too skilled.

Povetkin is the more skilled fighter with a more varied attack but he'd walk into Ruddock's power. I think Povetkin will win rounds on work rate but it's only a matter of time before he gets caught coming in with the smash.

Tyson had the chin to take it, I don't think Povetkin does based on how Huck hurt him. Povetkin may have gone the distance with Wlad but Wlad smothered a lot of his work, I think Rudduck being better inside would be able to finish Povetkin.

Post Tyson version of Ruddock gets stopped by Povetkin though. His chin is what kept him in the fight with Tyson but it was ruined by those 2 fights.

They are about the same size so Ruddock won't be able to use his height and weight the same he did to bully Tyson around when things get hairy.

I think Povetkin patiently outboxes Razor and possibly stops him late. Ruddock's only hope is a one punch knockout as he loaded up on the big uppercut and Povetkin took some of Wlad's best single shots, so I wouldn't bank on that.

The only man to floor Povetkin as an amateur or pro is Wlad. Povetkin is bigger and heavier than the Tyson Ruddock fought. He doesn't punch as hard as Tyson though, I see a good action fight with the better boxer winning the deciscion. Povetkin.

To be honest, Povetkin suffered a KD against Mazikin in amateurs when he lost on points.

Povetkin is much taller that Tyson, but he's not bigger - just fatter. Povetkin has small muscles, his arms are thin compared to other HW's.
Tyson on the other hand is built like tank.

alexander povetkin wins by late stoppage, in a very competitive fight. I wouldn't have a problem with someone saying Ruddock wins this. 50/50 ish fight.

This new, in-shape version of Povetkin is a bit of an unknown quantity. He's looked good in his last two fights. Povetkin picked a good time to get in shape - after the Klitschko fight. :patsch

This would be true two years ago but the man is looking like a beast as of late. He's no little armed dough boy anymore.

I like Ruddock. He might be predictable but that didn't prevent him from testing Tyson. He's very dangerous, and if he fights smart unlike the Lennox debacle I feel he has the power to get Povetkin looking for that canvas soft spot.

I would shade toward Povetkin but probably not place a wager unless the odds were ridiculous either way.

The Tyson version Ruddock was much more muscular and ripped than this chicken klitschko version povetkin.
Povetkin had big problem with the 6'2" but only 209.5 lbs Huck.
I think Huck outjabbed him easily. And the **** Huck wasn't ripped at all.
I think Povetkin is shorter than 6'2. Ruddock 6'3" i think the height difference
    is bigger.
6'2" Huck oujabbed Povetkin. This means nearly zero skill by Povetkin..
    Povetkin is incredible slow .
Povetkin's punching power isn't impressive at all.
What was Povetkin's best ko win?
    The glass-chinned 50-7-2 39 years old (nearly 40) Rahman?
    Charr? Takam ? Nobodies.
I can't imagine a successful Povetkin against Ruddock.
