Not sure how to rate Vargas

Won comfortably but when ever Demarco opened up he rocked and exposed problems

Vargas looked a little improved but got by more so on what Demarco wasn't doing

116-112 to VARGAS on ALL 3 SCORECARDS.

    Fair result.

Vargas will never be A LIST but he's a decent fighter.

Vargas vs Danny Garcia would be good next year.

    116-112 x3 for Jesse Vargas

Good fight. For someone who consistently gets labelled as boring, Vargas has been in some fun fights. Lopez, Omotoso, Khabib, and now DeMarco were all good, hard-fought contests.

Only really got rocked once imo. Far too willing to take punches though. Fought DeMarco's fight from 7-10.

Clear win for him but has to be more careful.

Agreed. Seems to enjoy these tear ups a bit too much as he gets dragged into them pretty often.

i think the early body work took a lot out of demarco. vargas is nothing special at 140. no power and suspect defense.

Great fight that. Probably wouldn't have stayed up for the Pac fight without such a good opener, if I'm honest.

That Hearn card earlier sickened me a bit.
