    Nah, the BN commentators thought it was better for him compared with the 1st-4th, but he still lost it...and I agree.

    People fall into the whole "relative improvement automatically means won round" trap a little too often.

    Paquiao is starting to land heavy left hands behind the jab now. Algieri is sticking the jab and skipping away. Paquiao lands a hard left up top. Algieri down. He beats the count and makes a break for it. Paquiao lands another left with a leaping jab to follow up and down goes Algieri. He complains it was a slip and points out a wet spot on the canvas. The ref is deaf to his concerns. Official knockdown.
