Yeah but he clearly doesn't "lack" power at this current weight, it's not a problem, there are other areas of more concern.

He "clearly" does. Or he would got a human punching bag out of there.

Btw what areas in his game are there concerns for? His game is pretty much complete, great counter puncher, he can also lead, great at feints, combinations, good defense, and footwork. If he had power he could truly be something special.

Lomachenko kryptonite is a big power puncher. Enter Nicholas Walters!

I think one of the bigger problems is when he's on the backfoot, he seems to just sometimes run too much, the guy tonight was open for so many counters yet Lomachenko didn't capitalize on nearly as many as he could have.

As for power, he has enough to hurt and probably stop most featherweights in my opinion, he's not a one punch KO artist but he's got enough, we can only agree to disagree.

I actually think he fights good on the backfoot, he does run a lot though. The reason for the running might just be him taking a breather, anyways I see your point, and I can agree to disagree, at least you seem to know what you're talking about, unlike the majority of this forum who don't even watch fights, and get all their news from boxingnews24.

Did Floyd get his opposition out of there at 130?

Most successful amateurs don't have power punches. They win by volume of punches.

Chonlatarn Piriypinyo was very durable, 54 fights never been stopped.

With two goods hands, I think he would have been stopped.

Loma has decent power, he hurt a 148lb Salido.

It's impossible to say, this opponent and GRJ were/are an unknown when it comes to their chins/durability. If they'd fought other top fighters we'd be able to compare but it's impossible to tell at the moment. I'd like to see Lomachenko get some more size/strength in his lower body and commit to his punches.
At the moment it seems like his upper body is used for his offence while he uses his lower body purely for movement and defence.

First his name is Chonlatarn not Jonathan, second he knocked him down in the 4th, he hurt his hand around the 7th, Thais are incredibly hard to KO, especially since this one has been in 53 matches and never KO'd, I've been watching boxing since I was a child which means around 30 years.

And anyone who takes their user name from Leonard Ellerbe a sycophant of the highest order, has no right to call anyone a mentally challenged child, I really don't think you'd want to face me in any type of IQ measuring contest it would be more one sided than Pac Algieri tonight, in my favor.
