Because that's 2 or 3 times now since the Cotto fight he has put on a beat down so bad that at least 9 out of 10 refferee's would have stopped it. Fair enough the refferee may not have wanted to stop it here but come on let's not critisize Manny, he is fightng guys who never get stopped and the refferees are just letting it go.

name the other 2 or three...you mean marquez or bradley or rios? wtf are you talking about? the reason he didn't get a KO tonight was because the ref realized he was calling slips and pushes KDs...if manny was really knocking the guy down 6 times, it's unlikely the guy would have made it to the 12th round and still be as fresh as he was. at least 4 of those KD's were false.

The correct halt to a fight because of a knockdown is to save a fighter from an imminent knockout that is about to come because a fighter is in a bad condition. Not the case here.

For some odd reason, Pac is just not a KO fighter anymore.

The reason is obvious. He's fighting guys bigger than him, with solid chins, and Pac is in his mid thirties.

And there's an argument I guess as well for stopping the Rios fight. If Canelo-Angulo was a legit stoppage, then Pac-Rios could have been stopped too.

and algieri was indeed in bad condition turning his back and taking a knee the ref literally got in pacs way for no reason.margarito suffered permanent damage because the ref failed to stop the fight.

The 2 or 3 I was think of were Margarito, Mosely and Algieri.

The fact is at one point Algieri was just out on his feet against the ropes unable to defend himself, instead of stopping it or letting Pacquiao continue to batter him the refferee stepped in and issued a count, I thought standing 8's had been done away with.

Yep, then he interposed himself again later in the round looking as if he might wave it off, and Pac backed way up. Pac would have finished him without the ref giving a long count and interposing himself TWICE after that. Three flubs. Unforgiveable. Giving a fighter the benefit of the doubt is different than getting in the way of a finish.

Pac lost it ever since Floyd called him out. Pac will fight Jessie Vargas at 140 next and call out Mayweather acting like he really wants to fight him. :deal

The fact is Algieri took a lot of uneccessary punishment that can't have done him any good as well.
