Avocado Algeri was at a severe disadvantage. He was fighting inside a locked cage, in a boxing ring for the first 9 rounds...

Chris was safe inside the cage, Pac was like a great white being filmed by a cameraman inside a cage.

 

Tim Lane was or is a shocking corner man/trainer.

**** advice throughout reminded me of a typical MMA corner, came across very arrogant and lost imo.

 

no surprise there as lane was a kick boxer himself.he must of thought that algieri could kick Pacquiao.:rofl:rofl

You see it in nearly all the MMA corners people who know very little about their chosen sport and offer advice which Is based more on a type of positivity as opposed to giving their fighter actual helpful advice.

John Winkleman ( think that's his name) in the UFC is a prime example. He's one of MMA's alleged great trainers yet his advice is awful.

Algeri is a good fighter but he needs a actual boxing trainer instead of a MMA/ new age fitness trainer.

 

algieri is a safety first runner, he puts himself in his own cage, and cant ever escape. tim can unlock the cage all he wants, algieri aint leaving it

 

yes lane was a kick boxer like algieri.he was algeri's sparring partner in kick boxing.yeah it seems like these mma dudes are just meatheads.
