how can people honestly defend this guy? you dont have to be a pac hater to see what he is doing. he makes it sound like he will answer that phone now but remember when he ducked and dodged phone calls from schaffer stating "i dont know why schaffer is calling me" yet would not return calls. he stated he did not know who represents mayweather he did not know anything about him and his team or his dealings yet he also claimed to know for a fact that mayweather pac could not happen because "he has signed to fight erik morales"

say what you want about floyd or pac there is no denying bob is full of ****. harvard grad yet contradicts himself constantly

edit: before everyone jumps up angry to defend pacs team and gets really passionate and with that deluded let me just state i aient no pac hater. he is a 1st ballot HOF,ATG iv even purchased one or two of his ppv fights that i thought were worthy of buying such as bradley 2 (event though that undercard still haunts me at night) and went halfys on the cotto undercard with a mate.
i just made this thread because it astounds me how many people defend bob arum over this blatent bull****.

 

How can you go to KO a guy is focusing on surviving and running, not on winning. And also gets long counts and extra pauses with standing counts. WTF were those standing counts? Either let the fight go on or take him out of the fight!

Why?

Sure Pac was and should have been the favourite but Algeri was coming off a career best performance beating a man who gave Bradley hell.

Put into the mix he's bloody massive for a 140lb fighter, durable and light on his feet and that doesn't make an easy fight for anyone. Especially how people have been saying Pacquaio has slipped as of late.

Manny dominated but Algeri didn't disgrace himself imo, what was a disgrace was the absolute ****e corner Algeri had.

 

It's weird, cause espinoza did tweet that, and I remember reading an article by woodsy, at the sweet science as well, that Bob, went to Espinoza's boss for a better offfer or something like that. Rafael was asked about it in his chat last week, and he said according to his sources, it was 40 million with no upside. I know Dan has inside information, but it doesn't make sense that Espinoza would lie.

I think it's just the first stage, and Arum wants a better deal. I'm not so sure he's going Bob the builder mode this time around, cause it's time for Pac to cash out now.

Fl0mos on the defensive because Floyd is hiding.

 

Pacquaio does what Arum tells him to doubt he WOULD fight Floyd.

Floyd on the other hand doesn't want the fight and it's blatantly obvious.

 

yeh i agree that it makes no sense for bob to want to protect manny from floyd anymore because he is slowing down and looking to cash out (even though manny just said in the post fight interview tnight he plans to keep boxing into the foreseeable future) but he still remains unwilling to set up negotiations or do anything other then claim he will answer calls this time (when we all remember what happened when schaffer called him on behalf of floyd to set up the fight in 2012)

if bobs stopping it now then its because of his bad blood with floyd

 

He claimed to be scared needles and avoided the fight when Floyd was trying to make it few years back. He must be referring himself to as "they"
