it's been close to 5 years by my estimations and we are still arguing about who's ducking who but why can we not just accept the simple facts as a boxing community.


Mayweather and Pacquiao just can't come to a negotiating agreement. Regardless of who's fault it is. Floyd probably wants 60-40 or something like that and Pacquiao probably wants 50-50 at the end of the day neither of these guys are scared of each other and I don't think either is in any rush to fight the other when they can continue to steal money by beating lesser competition.


Both these guys are once in a lifetime athletes and the rest of boxing right now just isn't at that level. Regardless of who you think will win or who's fault it is I think we should all agree its both their faults.


Floyd will continue to beat whatever haymon fighters are left
and pacquiao will continue to beat whatever top rank fighters are left


Neither of these guys will face anyone they can lose to (besides marquez) and to be honest there just isn't anyone out there they can lose to besides each other.

 

He's enjoying the time off before making a decision which should be in Feb. I still see a wide UD by Floyd. Pac makes so many mistakes its unbelievable.

 

We should just agree that we want the fight, I don't know why people get so invested in trying to act as if their opinion on one fighter is a fact.

I'm a Mayweather fan but if he struggled with Maidana who is slow Mayweather will be easy work for Pacquiao. I know people will bring up Marquez but Marquez stood in the lions den and fought pacquiao money May isn't that type of fighter. What I can see is Mayweather applying a Bernard Hopkins strategy hitting holding and frustrating pacquiao. That maybe his only way cause if he goes and shoulder roll block Pacquiao will kill him. To beat pacquiao you must fight him back. Marquez and Morales showed that!
