    This thread isn't about JMM.

Yes, JMM beat Pac by KO. It happened.

    Pac isn't crying about it.

What does that have to do with Mayweather?

    NOTHING.

The point is, Mayweather fanatics don't want the fight and them referring to JMM is an excuse.

"But Pac couldn't beat JMM, how can he hang with Mayweather? I don't want the fight."

There is more than one way to skin a cat.

Maidana was able to back Mayweather against the ropes beacuse he fought in the pocket the entire time with his feet planted firmly on the floor and smothered everything Floyd did with constant pressure

Pacquiao is more of a ranged outside fighter who would give Floyd more room to manouver, his style lets him shoot from range meaning he gets in and he gets out but with Floyd that gives him time to evade and more time and room to counter what Pacquaio does

That being said Pacquiao's work rate is the only thing i see troubling Floyd but on the flip side I see Floyd exploiting a lot of the mistakes Pacquiao makes. Boxing politics are stopping this fight from being made, Bob Arum cant make a 5th Pacquiao/Marquez fight because as he said himself Marquez wants a bigger purse and Pacquiao wants his money too, with Floyd demanding (and rightfully so) a bigger purse being the A side Pacquiao wouldnt get the money he wants with Bob Arum leeching off him hence why he offered him to fight under his Banner so they could both make the money they wanted.

The fight not being made comes down to money and not either fighter being "afraid" of each other

big respect to both Floyd and Manny, but personally I still think Floyd wins via a clear UD 116-112

Pac barely wins a round. hes just to wide open for counters to beat a pure boxer like Mayweather and most of us know this! Casinos do
