And....? Manny is taking home $25 million guaranteed. The PPVs for Floyd have been taking a dive...he hasn't seen PPV money since the Nelo fight. He hasn't went over a million buys outside of the Nelo fight. None of Floyd's SHO numbers OUTSIDE of the Nelo fight have been released, officially.

All that said it's indication that people...fans and of course his network are growing tired of his shtick. Which is why the are applying all kinds of pressure for him to fight Manny.....and since they know that it's most likely NOT going to happen they are going back to the two fights that Floyd had that did break a million...Cotto and Nelo.

Who are both looking to fight one another in MAY......actually taking Floyd's "May Day" away and having SHO scramble for another oppenent that could help their network out.....they are looking at APRIL for Floyd but no names are in the mix that would be acceptable except for PAC....or one of the other Latin fighters I mentioned.

PAC doesn't have to agree to Floyd's terms either....they don't need one another to make money....they are doing just fine without having to make this MEGA fight.

But.......It's not just about MONEY....it's about boxing....legacy and doing what's right for fans who have made these two men very, VERY rich.

It's obviously NOT about the money for Floyd otherwise he would have taken the fight. It's not about the money for PAC....he was willing to do a winner take all arrangement if that meant Floyd would just step up.

So......it leaves us to wait on of course the man who is jamming up the fight...Floyd himself.

In 2009 both men were P4P #1....both were in there primes and BOTH deserved 50/50. It's not that way now.

Floyd should have never needed to make accusations that proved slanderous and he shouldn't have needed to go as far as creating new testing measures just to do his job as a fighter. That's where all this took a downward spiral.

Had Floyd negotiated as he did 40+ other times the fight would have already happened in 2009 or at the latest 2010.

There were no "awesome" offers. All were fluff.....made to look like Mayweather was actually trying but when you peel back the layers of the onion it was evident they were NOT serious offers.

Most of Haymons fighters are Golden Boy promoted or TMT. There are still valid contracts with Golden Boy promotions for fighters managed by AL. Danny wants to get paid and he'll be willing to step up and fight PAC since Floyd won't. AL wants to make money too so he'll be willing to work with Bob and Bob is willing to work with AL. Things are looking up.

Now obviously because it would be HIGHLY anticipated there would be crazy buzz and the first two rounds would have everyone on the edge of their seat... but if you watched both of their last fights you can see how f*cking dull this fight would be.

I think it's a 50-50 fight depending on the judges but it has the making of a terrible fight.

Floyd isn't as fleet footed as he once was like against Corrales. He's much slower now and certainly slower on his feet than Algieri. Floyd likes to stay in the pocket more now.

It still is the biggest fight in the sport.

It wouldn't matter. People just want to see these two settle it once and for all.
It would be very good for boxing and other fighters as well.

No doubt, the biggest fight of our generation. I just think it would be dull. I'll still watch of course.

Dream scenario is Alexander spoiling the **** out of the fight with holding and grabbing, then winning a thin SD.:deal

Imagine the opposition to both him or Khan fighting May in that kind of scenario. We would get Maidana 3 with a clause that Floyd picks his shoes, gloves and haircut. Then market solely to the Bieber fan base to rake in an easy 700k buys - TBE.

I hope the fight does'nt happen because Mayweather will get overcredited for the victory if it does.

In any regards, I dont think it would be a dull fight. I think it would be onesided but not dull.
It would be so easy for Mayweather he's not going to help but press on the accelerator and dish out some real punishment.

I believe the fight would be so one sided that there would be a good chance Buboy would throw the towel in.
