Is Carl Froch the Best British Supermiddleweight ever?

calzaghe is better, if froch avenges his defeat to ward then he will be in my opinion as he will have the better resume then JC + avenged both his defeats.

 

Froch has 3 losses tbh, he clearly lost to Dirrel and was given a gift decision.

 

I don't think he did, I can see why dirrell could have won, but if you go to a champions hometown, spoil a fight, basically run away, don't be surprised when you lose a lot of rounds.

it was a **** fight, highlights wise you could probably say dirrell landed the better punches, especially late on. but for probably half the rounds nothing happened because dirrell had his running shoes on, and these rounds in the main would go to froch.

Froch despite of his losses, still has a better resume than Calzaghe imo, Calzaghe's best wins were past their prime .

 

Can't take nothing away from Froch but I reckon Calzaghe beats Ward.

Stop it OP. Watson, Eubank, Benn and Calzaghe would have all embarrassed Froch to varying degress of brutality.

 

Calzaghe is much better. So too are Eubank and Benn.

 

Calzaghe for me also, you have to think would Froch have beaten Eubank Benn Collins ?

Could make a argument for him being second but not first.

 

If you're going on achievements I'd put him ahead of Benn and Eubank.

He has fought the best competition to be fair. Skill? No. That goes to Calzaghe. Would Froch have beaten Eubank, Benn and Calzaghe at their peak? No.
