Boxing needs instant replay to avoid further fiascoes like Pac-algieri

I can't stand how funny the forum is tonight

 

Boxing needs Pacquiao vs Floyd. Tell Floyd to grow some B ALLS.

 

Its only a fiascoe if Algieri really had a shot at winning, but he did not. Nobody cares except the Algerie fans that are in denial & can't accept the fact that he couldn't carry Mannys jock strap!:-(

 

Honestly wouldnt have a problem with this

Fighter A slips and is ruled a knockdown

Knockdown is reviewed between rounds and if the knockdown is not legitimate it is announced before the start of the next round

Same goes for accidental headbutts, fouls etc.

 

If Algieri had no hope of winning why was he fighting Pacquiao in the first place? why didnt Manny choose to fight someone who actually fights at welterweight?

Fact of the matter is the ref did a horrible job in not only calling bogus knockdowns and lowblows but when there was a legitimate knockdown in the 9th where Algieri looked like he was seriously hurt he didnt wave the fight off!

If Algieri was seriously hurt as a result of that then Gonzales should have been banned, luckily Chris seems to be ok.

 

Let's be real.....this wasn't a dirty fight.....low blows happened but it wasn't excessive. A lot of the low blows came from Algeri's running and trying to avoid getting too close.

There were FOUR legit knockdowns and that's not up for debate. Chris walked out of that fight with a very sore ego......but it wasn't enough to embellish what took place. He himself said 2 knock downs were slips.....if there were 3 slips....4 slips or even 5 slips you best believe Algeri would have been pounding that drum to save a little face and help ease some of that pain.

Exactly...how many times are you watching a fight, guy gets cut and the announcers say it came from a butt or a punch...how the fk do they know? how the fack do they know that the replay they showed is what caused the cut? too many times, it looks to me like the house fighter got cut from a headbut and the underdog gets cut from a punch...not buying it.

 

And while we are at it change the fight result to a dq since Floyds corner men stepped into the ring in the 10th round....

 

that's much more a legit over turn than the off balance kd

What's with these guys saying there 2-3 slips and 1-2 pushes?? There were 2 slips, just 2. 4 legit knock downs. Even the slips, both of them, were preceded by hard shots from manny.
