Floyd mayweather is the more versatile fighter... He is effective boxing, coming forward, cutting the ring off, countering, spoiling... He simply has more options and more technical boxing skills....Manny isn't effective backing up, inside, just mid range laterally

2) mayweather adjusts to his opponents mid fight better than anyone in this era...he stays calm under all circumstances... "If you make any mistakes you have to pay"

3)ability to up the anty...when it was required for mayweather to change gears he has shown the ability to up his game like Jordan...against maidana, Judah, Mosley,Castillo, hatton etc....Manny is effective in one gear

4)size and length...mayweather is 2 inches taller with a 3 inch or more reach advantage and although both are physical specimens money seems to have a natural 5 to 10 pound weight advantage...Manny reaches with punches when faced with non plodders he will jump into counter shots

5) hunger....they may want the fight for their own personal reasons but I don't think Manny is as hungry as mayweather who has felt denied of his fair shake, due credit and would come in top shape mentally n physically....mayweather has more left in the tank...PAC has been in more taxing fights....mayweather is meaner than given credit for and will be willing to do more to win

mayweather would be under HUGE pressure against pac pressure he has neve felt for years he has talked **** to pac he is still crazy over that 0 people are forgetting he would be under huge pressure because of his fear of losing the 0

 

I think a few years ago this scenario was maybe more likely. Thing is Pac has great angles and Mayweather don't have the power to put him away IMO. Pac could rack up a lot of points in the judges eyes due to his high work rate versus Floyd's low work rate. Could go either way to me.
Depends on how much slower Floyd has gotten. He may have stayed in the pocket with Canelo and Guerrero, but Manny is a different kind of beast. Mayweather would have to get on his bicycle a lot to avoid punishment and stay ahead with his pot shots.
Psychologically, I think Manny has the edge right now, due to Mayweather's last two fights that were a little too close for Floyd's comfort, not to mention everybody, even Mayweather's own son, calling him a coward. Also Floyd has been calling himself The Best Ever, which means that he has to live up to that or eat the BIGGEST banquet of humble pie that may ever have been cooked.

 

If FMJ himself thought he'd win clearly this fight would have been made years ago.
