    Manny Pacquiao. Not just who he beat, but the way he beat both.

    I like your list IB. But sticking Thurman as "elite" is a bit premature.
    He's not beaten anybody to be classed as elite for me.

    Crawford. Wins over Burns, Gamboa, and Beltran, 3 of the top fighters at lightweight.

    If he fights and beats the winner of Bey-Shafikov, he'll have essentially cleaned out the division.

    A couple more to add to the list.

    * Hekkie Budler (3-0, 2 KO's)
    * Juan Fransisco Estrada (2-0, 2KO's, notable victory: Segura)

    Not saying they should win, but both had good years.

    Froch only had ONE fight & victory in 2014. And that was the rematch victory against Groves. Hardly Fighter Of The Year material...!!!

    Algieri is the who's who of boxing now? O the tards. And him rematching Bradley whom he already beat is another test? Pacroid was a HUGE favorite!

    Reminds me when Phonaire was FOTY and I kept telling everybody he was heavily favored against all his opponents. Then Rigo schooled Phonaire the next year.

    Because Pac officially lost to Bradley. Pac rematching with Bradley is better than Floyd rematching Maidana.:deal

    I go with Crawford, it's been a great year for him already and he also fights Beltran soon for the ring mag title.

    Don't know why Floyd would be in there, had 1 semi-touch fight with a B fighter, someone he was SUPPOSED to beat easy, than had a rematch with him in a very easy fight. WTF would he be FOTY ? LOL

    Manny Pacman (Even though he should've finished Algieri)

    Froch should be on that list as well IB, after the first Groves fight he destroyed Groves with that right hand.
