You don't know **** about boxin.

    Provin time and time again.

Provo gets low, and he's explosive. That's two things. Provo has better punching technique. That's three things.

I will say Maidana has the better win though, when he beat Mayweather the first time.

YDKSAB! The *******ism is getting worse. Every BUM Pacroid fights is an ATG according to you tards. Yet Algieri was as much as 15-1 to underdog.

I think Provo delivers his punches better. Marcos is a bit wild....So is Provo at times but I think he punches a little harder and technique wise. I think Miadana has a better jab and puts his punches together better than Provo but like I said.....It's a toss up for me on who is better than who. If the fight is at 147 of course I'll favor Miadana....at 140 I might just go with Provo.....but I really believe if these two were to s****....it would come down to the better chin....not who is the "better boxer".

Wait, so your three things are:

    -"gets low"
    -"he's explosive"
    -"better punching technique"

While perhaps you have seen both at the club, I haven't, so I can't speak on which of them "gets low" better.

In all seriousness, "gets low" on its own isn't something that can be listed as a boxing attribute. "Gets low to evade punches better" would be something you could say here that would make sense... Explosiveness? I don't know how you can say he's more explosive. Based on what? No explosiveness whatsoever for the last 11 rounds of the Algieri fight, no explosiveness for 7 or 8 whole rounds of the Bradley fight, no explosiveness against Corley or Herrera really. I'll give you the Alvarado fight and a couple select rounds in his big fights. But you are ignoring Maidana's explosive workrate and physical mauling against Broner, forgetting his explosive comeback against Soto Karass and the final round+ of the Josesito fight, forgetting what he did in the war with Ortiz, the explosive round 10 against Khan, etc... "Better punching technique," hmm, well they are both cavemen to some degrees so I'll give you that, I think it's safe to say that Maidana in his last 5 or so fights has shown better technique. You have to have the IQ for the technique to be good, and Provodnikov does not have that. It isn't good technique when you are swinging and hitting air...

And, in the end, all that matters who who you have proven those traits against and...

    ...Maidana opposition >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Provodnikov opposition

Are we now claiming Miadana is an ATG? I don't think Chris or Marcos proved they are anywhere close to being ATG's based on their latest performances.

Please, not everyone has your level of vanity. I don't recall having any threads I've specifically created disappear here, but I have been a participant in several discussions that have gone by the wayside thanks to the policy of indiscriminate merging.

I'd also note I've hardly noticed an increase in posting quality since this process began, merely an increase in moved threads on the front page. If extremist Pacquiao and Mayweather fans make up the majority of the userbase as it is, I fail to see what's so terrible about letting them troll each other all day. And if the concern is truly about their detracting from thread quality, then why stop exclusively at things related to Pacquiao and Mayweather? Why not have a single Mayweather thread where every new thread that even mentions his name gets thrown and the same for Pacquiao? No need to stop there either, we can also have catch-all threads for Khan, the Klitschkos, and other troll favorites on this site.

Miadana did go 24 rounds wit Floyd.....There's no question he learned a LOT from those rounds and that experience so I'd be willing to go out on a limb and say Marcos might have the edge over Provo in experience which is A LOT in this game.

PAC better at guys who fight coming forward

Floyd better at fighting guys when the pressure come from behind him. Well he was until Ellerbe started taking Extenz and they outgrown each other according to him.

    Pacquiao.

See Pacquiao's fight with journeyman Brandon Rios, and compare it to Mayweather's fight with the similar journeyman Marcos Maidana.

That was years back but recent evidence also suggests Pac is defo better than Mayweather at handling fighters who learned how to fight by watching Rocky Balboa
