Be that as it may, he can neutralize attacks now better than he could then.

He still looks panicky when even grazed by a puncher, but he no longer acts panicky.

Why are we ignoring the fact that 2003 version of Sanders was old, semi retired, and out of shape?
Wlad of 2003 was at his peak physically. He just can't deal with fast pressure from a quick handed fighter with good power who had good height&range of his own.

If you want to do a proper hypothetical then match Wlad up with a PRIME Sanders. Wlad doesnt make it out of round 1 with a PRIME Sanders.

No, he wouldn't. Wlad is too good at controlling the distance and moving away from punches now. He would be extra careful against Sanders.

To be honest, Sanders is different than these 3 - he's taller and hits harder than Ibra, Haye or Povetkin.

I think it would've been the most dangerous fight for Wlad in years, but only in early rounds as Sanders had stamina issues.

Agreed. 2014 Wlad is the best Wlad we've seen, IMO.

There's a chance he would get his Glass Jaw shattered again.. but probably not.

He is now expert at the illegal holding, negating much of shorter men's chances against him.

And let's not make Sanders out to be something he wasn't. He was a half-decent contender who was half retired.. his power is also criminally overrated.

    Yes.

He would be scared of Sanders.. and Sanders would go for the kill.

Wlad may have been a his physical peak, but lets get real, his style is completely different and he a hundred times harder to hit now.

We have all seen Dino's track record of predicting Wlad fights. So that settles it, Wlad by one sided beat down that makes Dino look stupid yet again :good

Exactly, If Dino is predicting Wlad will lose, we know what happens in real life.

Can't pick a real fight so save his account, in fact he lost his to me, but here he is yet again welching on his bet to offer his opinion on fantasy fights that will never happen.

I'm not so sure. A brave guy like Brewster went at Wlad in the first round guns blazing but was seriously deterred by Wlad's punching power. He ended up beating Wlad becaude Wlad was exhausted. I think Corrie goes all out from the start, but this time Wlad holds and jabs more, maybe lands a good right or left hook, and Sanders quickly slows down a notch after feeling that power. He could KO Wlad again though. 50-50.

Oh the increadible PRIME Sanders......is that the one who was beating journeman or the one who got KOed in 2 by Nate Tubbs ?

Sanders had quick hands and surprised Wlad in their fight but it would not happen again even back then in the rematch.
