I can't figure out why Tony greasy mullet Tucker gets so much love on this forum? and how so many pick him to beat an ATG like Spinks:nut

Tucker lost to Lewis i can see that, he also lost to Orlin Norris, Henry Akinwande, Bruce i took a dive Seldon, and got a major ass whuppin from Jawny i wanna give you a hug Ruiz....

Yea he was tall so what, Spinks was a master at winning fights, and was too damn good to lose to a coke head like Tucker...

Excellent post. I agree with most of your points and think Foreman would've lost to Tucker. While I think Spinks had enough craft to beat Tucker, Tucker definitely presented a threat and Spinks' ****ey--->Tyson path was much more financially sound than possibly screwing things up with a comparatively low money Tucker fight.

Spinks was an all time great as a 175 pounder.. not as heavyweight... I think Tony would have beaten Spinks 8-4 or 7-5... I think Tucker's fists would have found Spinks a bit more often that Larry Holmes and with a lot more speed...His losses to some of those mentioned were when he was older and bloated... not the same fast and slightly slick mover he was when he was younger..

    Yep.

That's why we saw the Tangstad fight. Anyone picking him over Spinks back then? Anyone really wanted to see that fight? All these heavies around and we get Tangstad. Not even a Berbick kind of guy. Or an old Witherspoon even.

But they wanted a guy that gave automatic openings for spinks and would just stand there. Not a guy they would have to break down.
