i disagree, if we look deeper, each of Wlads top wins have very good resumes of their own, whereas the guys you named don't, except Adamek.

I can't believe the people writing Ali off here,it's just plain ludicrous.
Ali getting beat off a statue? Are people kidding? Vitali wouldn't get near him and would be eating lightning fast combinations all night.
Vitali's whole reputation as an elite fighter is based on 6 losing rounds to Lennox Lewis when he was cut to a pulp, what would Ali do?

Which fight shows these lighting fast combinations? Cleveland Williams? He was shot? Liston? He took a dive. Unless you think Vitali losses via cut ( Happened once. Did you know Ali lost an AM match on cuts? ) Ali is in for a long night.

This could be a tough fight to score. Vitali would likely throw more punches and land more. Even the most staunch Ali fans must admit he had trouble with good jabbers at all stages of his career. Doug Jones, Kenny Norton, Ron Lyle, Jimmy Young and Larry Holmes. Sure Ali was older for Holmes but he wasn't in the other matches and look at the trouble he had. Vital is a good jabber too.

The rope a dope would not work for Ali here.

Cooper and all those other bums knocked Ali down but of course we have to remember that Ali is from the past so he would just flick Vitali with his little finger and send him soaring into the stratosphere.

Why not? Byrd rope a doped Viatli to the point his shoulder popped out of joint. If even he had a severe injury. I doubt he did since he was back in the ring 5 months later.

Robotic Vitali couldn't knock out Chris Byrd for a billion dollar check.
    Why not?
Ike easily blasted out Byrd in 5 , but Vitali couldn't even land a glove on him and you think this is a guy who beats Ali:nut:rofl

Young inexperienced Vitali... The more smart, high ring IQ version of Vitali wouldn't fall for that kind of thing. Still, he outboxed Byrd fairly easily and was ahead on all cards. Older Vitali v.s Byrd would be more like Vitali/Kingpin.

But no excuses can be made for Ali.

Ali wasn't young and inexperienced when he had a hard time with Jones and when he was almost knocked out cold by Cooper.

Excuses are only allowed for Klitschko's:patsch

That's not an excuse, it's a fact. That wouldn't have happened later on in his career as he was more experienced and ring savvy, how exactly is that an excuse? Vitali would never have gotten dropped by a featherfisted bum like Cooper btw. :good

Big, bad Liston..who beat a light heavy for the title. Don't compare a 6'1' midget to a beast of a man.

Ali is a legend, but even legends can lose.:deal

Its not a fact. He never fought any Byrd later in his career so how the f.cuk is it a 'fact'

Vitali looked much better in his youth than he did in his comeback.

Kingpin was a lot less elusive than Chris Byrd and Vits couldn't land on him clean, with him right there in front of him and came out of the fight with his face all messed up.
Agian.. excuses are only allowed for Klitschkos. You're an absolute clown
