Did you know, 'the best ranking system in the world' has 8 fighters from the UK ranked in the top 5 (if we include champions as you seem to be doing as number 1), and only 14 from the US- which includes Mayweather twice and inactive Ward.

That's a pretty poor ratio for America given they have a much larger population, around 5 times as much as the UK.

Also being that it's the best ranking system in the world, I take it you DON'T recognize Mayweather as the champ at 147?

And Cotto and Stevenson maybe lineal champs, but nobody recognises them as the best in the division. Or I suppose you rated journeyman Sonny Boy Jaro as the best Flyweight in the world when he upset Wongjongkam.

Oh and Kovalev is from Chelyabinsk, which is in Europe. Not Asia.

Did they win any medals for America when they were amateurs?

Isn't it a shame comparing a whole continent to a country. Your thread further proves how mighty America is.

Not sure how you work that out?
The top fighters from HW down to MW are not American.
A continent doesnt always mean more people or in this case active boxers.

    HW
    USA has 335
All of Europe together only has 18 more and the #1 is a fighter who won the European HW title.

You seem very insecure and im not sure why?

GGG would MURDER Eubank and his daddy in his prime in the same day.

JR KO3.....then a short intermission. The prime Sr KO6.

In 9 rds, GGG would dismantle the entire Eubank legacy.:lol::lol:

Cmon Bailey......stick to Calslappy.....at least his pitterpattering is stuff of ATGness. :thumbsup

TBR is currently accepted as the best outlet for divisional boxing rankings at the moment.

And I'm quite sure they are not a magazine.

I'm not making it out as gospel. I have been citing TBR rankings for a while now. Just being consistent.

And, guess what?!? You are not taking into account that this thread is just your opinion. Making you a hypocrite. I can't cite TBR as a counter argument, not even my own opinions (as I rank Kovalev over Adonis at 175; yes the Kovalev that is from ASIA, not Europe), because your opinion is gospel? Maybe if you were a respectable poster who wasn't a known and long standing troll I'd respect you a tad.

While I agree that most of the top fighters in the divisions you named are from places other than the USA. What I have a problem with is the insinuation that the best fighters come from there. They fight hard they mostly have excellent power but their skills are always lacking. The reason why they are brought over is that they are cheap labor, bottom line. You get a hard good fight and you don't have to pay them that much. Not as much as a skilled American fighter. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of American fighters that are not being developed or promoted because of that. I would wager that there are fighters right today in America that if developed would run Kavalev, GGG , Lomo and all the rest of those so-called European fighters straight out the ring. We are the best and there's no doubt but our greed knows no bounds.

GGG would have been outboxed by Snr
