Holmes chin was outstanding , only stopped once in his career by a prime Tyson and even then it was multiple punches and knockdowns .. do your homework, seriously.

You are confusing facts with mere statistics.

The statistics of those that faced both men read that Shavers was the harder puncher, because MORE of those men claim that to be the case. Again these are not facts, but statistics.

    foreman.

shavers may have had more raw power, but only effective against punch bags.

edit - wow ern was fighting in the mid 90s!

Foreman stopped lyle, shavers could not stop lyle, foreman stopped a PEAK norton, shavers stopped a finished norton, foreman FACED a great versión in ali 74 and shavers could not even stop a zombie ali 77 even he landed clean this zombie ali took it easily, foreman would have ****ed Ali 77, young was green the only time that he. LOST vs shavers, foreman FACED a PEAK young. And this version OF foreman was pretty bad mentally and attacking, blablabla

With MY guarantee or not still they did hit harder, and all you know it, simply it is like a religion, " shavers was the hardest puncher ever " and you dont have any proof TO say that

You're looking rather silly here. Holmes was knocked down and hurt in numerous fights before the Tyson fight by people like Renaldo Snipes and Tim Witherspoon. Holmes' chin was good but not "outstanding".

Shavers outslugged Lyle until he got tired. Something Foreman couldn't do.

Then what's your excuse for Foreman being dropped TWICE before round 5? Shavers was stopped quite a few times, but besides the Quarry fight where he was hit with about 20 clean solid power shots, his stoppage loses were all due more to fatigue than to any chin issue. Besides the Quarry fight, just try to find one example of Shavers being dropped when he wasn't completely gassed. There is one fight this happened in when he was about 36 years old, but that's it.

Just look at Shavers fight with Ron Lyle. He went in trenches with Lyle, dropped him, out fought him and then got stopped in the 6th after running out of gas. Lyles next fight was his war with Foreman where he dropped George twice, and hurt him on several other ocassions. Shavers stood in the trenches with the same Lyle and didn't flinch. Well, at least until he ran out of gas.

Lyle was a huge puncher, no fault getting dropped BY him, and a knock down is not a knock out, then ali would have an horrible chinn for getting dropped and nearly out BY. Cooper, ron stander ****ed up shavers early, and frazier took then shots from ron easily
