he's got a lot slower than before, in barerra, paulie fights he was throwing some crazy combos, don't see him throwing them now a days.

He's fast without question, but sacrifices power and accuracy for the sake of it. He'd probably be a bit better if he slowed it down a bit, because his power and accuracy is quite good from a single shot (nearly finished Maidana). Rather than being able to wear his opponents down, with some fast accurate one two's, he relies on winning rounds with pitty-patter punches, and as we know, the longer his opponent is around, the more chance of catching him on his shaky beard (like Maidana).

No, but he does appear to have the most self-deluded fans in the history of boxing.

No, Ray Leonard, Wilfred Benitez, Hector Camacho, Ray Robinson, Zab Judah, Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali, Roy Jones, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, etc were pretty fast.

he may well do, doesnt mean there the best combinations though, you have to take in variety and power but they are lightning fast can think of anyone noticeably faster

This is true but towards the start of the fight he has lightning speed mixed with decent power and also good accuracy its only later on as you say that the accuracy and power deteriorate
