Isn't Marquez kind of ducking Pac?

He clearly won the last fight but to me, when a guy turns down a fight with someone who everyone else wants to fight, is a big$ fight AND a legacy fight...only to fight the loser of another fight... that is duck type behavior.

The other big draw that everyone else is clamoring to fight (except Jmm), Marquez won't even mention let alone get in the ring with again because he knows another 12-0 loss is coming.

If he doesn't want to rematch the 2 biggest draws in boxing, and won't sack-up to fight the third biggest ( who he has openly criticized) why not just retire?

I think he thought Bradley was an easy win... then he found out different.

I can understand it in that case. They both invested a lot of effort into making a final showdown,

the boring counter-fighter won while the other one took to many risk. So its not final anymore?

yes he is ducking him if he said he was retired that would be a good excuse but he goes of to fight alvardo loool and says he want that 5th title when pac has it they dont want it

bottom line is jmm knows he went to the gates of hell and knows if he fights pac again that lightning does not strike at the same place twice he also knows he was not putting a beating on pac

nacho" i will do everything i can to stop jaun from fighting pac its a dangerous fight a risky fight"

If pacquaio knocked Marquez out in that fashion, you would not be saying this.

The chapter is closed and I don't blame Marquez for wanting to end on that. Also he is 41 for gods sake.

Because Marquez would be 0-3-1 against Pacquiao, officially.

You can't duck somebody you've fought 4 times already, how many times are they supposed to fight.

We already know Marquez can win 8/9 rds vs Pac and still lose like in fight 3, if im Marquez whats the point of a 5th encounter. Its not a legacy fight i mean if Manny wins all he did was beat a shot 40yr old and if Juan wins well he's basically doing something he already did 3/4 times already.,

Everyone knows why this fight hasn't been made. JMM is looking for a FAIR cut of the $. A 5th fight would draw huge PPV. Anybody who doesn't think so is pac****ed.

You could put Pac up against any Mexican and it won't draw what JMM v Pac V would do.

Nah, he just doesn't think he'll get a fair shake. Secondly Pac was actually dominating the fight he got KTFO in. JMM should hang em up if you ask me.

How do you know what I would be saying? First of all, you're wrong because they have provided us with 4 excellent fights. Why wouldn't I want a 5th?

2nd.. it would be a slightly different situation because Pac is the A side, not JMM. If Manny KO6'd Marquez.... then Floyd would have been the biggest fight by a country mile.

I also don't blame him for not wanting to fight again, because if it does go to the scorecards pacman will come out the winner. more so now that the mayweather fight looks closer than ever.

Even when it wasn't close he got cheated, for example the third fight was a minimum 8 rounds to 4 to Marquez.
