Sounds extremely high......but so did 725k for the rematch between Floyd and Marcos Miadana.

Let me tell all of you something. If Arum, Roach or anyone says anything over $250,000 PPV buys, then they are a LYING SACK OF SH!T!!! Here is why...Rios, Bradley even Margarito are were all headline fighters on different premium cable networks during their careers prior to fighting Pacquiao, including being multiple belt holders, longtime pros with a fanbase / following. Pacquiao just fought a guy who was a damn kick-boxer with only 20 pro fights that was an undercard fighter on ESPN2 FNF, NBC Universial and Foxsports before his gift decision on HBO. And no-one outside of Huntington N.Y. knew who he was. The two co-features were fighters who had less than 10 pro-fights COMBINED and fighting opponents that NO-ONE has ever heard of. And you're telling me and everyone else that the PPV numbers were $750,000?

    GTFOHWTBS!!!

Dont get excited, thread starter is a Pac****, he got those numbers from Bob Arum's projection before the fight.
Arum's projection was that Pac-Algieri would do over 750K because Algieri was just featured on the magazine
    "New Yorker." :nut:lol:

why did he make manny fight in macau again? was that not his reasoning for why the ppv with rios flopped so bad? because it was in macau?

why do you have dollar sign beside the number of ppv buys? are you talking about ppv revenue here?

I highly doubt it, I think its probably 500-600k

why can't you just be a boxing fan? "agree to disagree" don't place yourself in the category of Nintendo and Kobe fan boys. Stop being so butthurt, men dont do that ****, this aint wwe/mma.

why is somebody supposedly called a "boxing fan" be so upset of an unconfirmed news that a boxing event made good numbers on PPV? unless you people are willing to foot the millions that boxers make, as a fan of the sport, you should be grateful for the support.
