I speculated a while ago that both Mayweather and Pacquiao chose easy match ups that were guaranteed wins in anticipation for fighting each other next year

I don't see how anyone can say Maidana is an easy fight. Chino is big, strong, unorthodox, has real power, has had good fighters like Khan, Broner, and Ortiz on ***** street. There is no comparison between Maidana and Algeiri

Yeah, Algeri was tailor made b/c he relies on his long jab and his speed, while Pac easily got under his jab and is the fastest 135lb + fighter since SRL.

If Algeri's team wanted to raise his profile, they'd put him in with Broner and when he scores a 120-107 shutout, scoring a 10-8 rd without even hurting but merely outlanding Broner 60-0, then they wouldve made that type of fight.

Don't you worry about Algeri. If he chooses to fight on, he'll school a guy like Porter, Broner, or Madaina or KO a guy like Paulie or Khan and he'll get his props.:good

if mayweather is saying he wants the fight, and moonves is saying he can delivery then great. i seen a post on fb by a boxing page stating pac agreed to taking 60 mill

 

if pac is getting a guarantee of $60 million then i think floyd is getting around $80 to $90 million

 

i believe it was the WBC who offerd pac 60 and may 100 and that is the deal in which pac according to the posts today has agreed to (could not see pac turning down 60m anyways)

 

I hope this is real! I said Floyd would fight Pac before his contract expires and it would be later than sooner. I didn't predict Maidana 2X though.

 

there's also one news article saying a group from united arab emirates making a huge offer for the floyd-pac fight with the combine purses approaching $200 million. that's $75 million for pac and a whooping $125 million for floyd.

 

is this recent? remember like 2 years ago some guy from "dubai" was offering ridiculous ammounts aswell ?
