Floyd > pac because marquez > pacquio ? Damn provodnikov must be the best boxer to ever live with that 24-3 record and loss to c level algieri.
**You're an idiot. Floyd only won by narrow decision and we all know he lost the first fight. Provo KO'd Castillo...do the math. KO>Decision>Loss. Such idiocy. **sarcasm may be present
But hatton > castillo so floyd > hatton, than floyd > castillo. But marquez > pacquiao still So floyd > pacquiao because floyd > marquez
bradley schooled marquez and will always will but when it comes to pac he gets his ass kicked:scaredas:
But bradley is 1-1 vs pac. Sadly he couldn't KO him with his forehead like he usually try to do, the southpaw stance of Pac must make it hard to use his headbutt attack...
Provo would be an incredibly tough fight for Floyd. Provo gives non-stop aggression. It's true he can be frusterated easily, which would likely be his undoing, but his style is very difficult for Floyd to overcome at this age. Provo has a low center of gravity, utilizes a bob and weave style, plus he's very strong. He managed to keep punching in the 12th round vs Bradley who has tremendous stamina, and even knock him down at the end of the fight. Maidana is a slugger. He's not a volume puncher. He's a slugger. Boxers are supposed to easily beat sluggers; however, Floyd barely won the first fight if you call it a win and couldn't even utilize his game plan to full effectiveness the second fight. If he had a more bi-partisan ref, Floyd would have been warned for all of his clinching that he did before he initiated any offensive attack. It would be difficult to clinch Provo because Mayweather would have to clinch him from up top, but Provo has strong legs and could still fire uppercuts as Mayweather clinches. Maidana is more straight up and down which allowed Mayweather to control him more easily. This won't be the case with Provo. Floyd at this age, if his last two fights were any indication, could actually lose this fight. If Floyd can't move for 12 rounds, he's in trouble vs this guy. Provo doesn't have the caveman technique. His punches are short. And for a volume puncher, he actually has power. That's a dangerous combination for a boxer. But if Floyd can't keep moving, you might not be able to call him that anymore as he'll find himself in more and more battles where he'll have to use power, volume, and defenses or a combination of each to win his fights.
The triangle theory doesn't exist in boxing. Styles makes fights and they bring different types of problems to the table depending of who's facing who. The f-l-o-m-o-s like to bring that kind of theory when it comes to give a good reason for Floyd not to fight Manny by comparing their fights against Marquez.
:deal Mayweather Fan Boys: "But but...., Marquez defeated Pacquiao once and Mayweather easily schooled Marquez who had never fought above 135 before the Mayweather bout and Mayweather came in overweight it's ok. No point for a Pacquiao-Mayweather...... Easy fight! TBE Blat Blat!"
