As time goes on, Corrie Sanders has turned into some superhuman punching machine on this forum.

Terms like "massive power" and "lightning speed for a heavy" are thrown about when he's discussed (usually by Klitschko fans).

The fact of the matter is he was a decent heavyweight, no more, no less.

The only fighter of note he ever beat was Wlad.

His KO%, despite spending the vast majority of his career fighting journeyman/tomato cans, was just 67%.

He also had punch resistance issues.

So let's stop with this non-sense that he was some kind of God like boxer who would have been the GOAT if he wasn't more bothered about golf, he was nothing more then contender level (at best) heavy with fairly decent hand speed.

He was a good fighter who hit the jack pot by beating a better fighter in Wlad.

    Nothing more nothing less imo.

he was a retired non acheiving fighter, who could as with many retired HWs, still punch (power is one of he last things to go in retirement).

never before has a retired fighter been used in a HW defence.

corrie wasn't used in a defence when he was prime.

He was a very good fighter, watch some of his other fights; he did have great handspeed for a hw, and did carry a lot of power in his left hand, but he was also undisciplined, often came to fight fat, and also didn't have a great chin.

Sanders was clearly a very skilled heavyweight who underachieved..... If he was more dedicated, and had good people behind him then I'm sure he would have gone further than he did.

Arguably the hardest hitting/most dangerous HW southpaw of all time... I guess you could argue that by being "underrated" he's become overrated, but whatever...

Vitali's chin is overrated. Sanders only had a 67% KO ratio, but he badly rocked Vitali.

Let's see some evidence of this?

You could say this about anyone.

:rofl:patsch Based on what exactly? Again, let's see some evidence of his huge power please.

Sanders couldn't KO glass-jawed Rahman, but he KO'd Wlad, and rocked Vitali.

You aren't going to listen to anything anyone says because you made this thread out of spite towards the Klitschkos, and their fanbase. So what's the point??????

He was without question the hardest punching fighter I've seen in person. You could hear wind off his missed punches.

You've told me he's the hardest hitting southpaw of all time.

Again, let's see some evidence to back this up.

    I'll wait.

There isn't exactly a large pool of notable HW southpaws to choose from. But out of the likes of Ibragimov, Byrd, Moorer, etc. I'd say he was definitely the hardest hitting HW southpaw champion of all time.

And how many boxers were able to do that to Vitali? :think
