Hmmm Fury is actually significantly bigger than Wlad

Wlad also has a soft chin. Thing is Wlad has one of the hardest punches in the history of the sport, Fury seems featherfisted with awful arm-punching technique.

IF Fury lands those punches on Wlad they likely won't have much effect, even with Wlad's awful punch resistance. But if Wlad lands his double jabs, left hook or straight right I see Fury's head snapping back like if he was hit by a 20 ton truck.

 

Well, Fury has got a nice variety of punches, but have you ever heard of footwork? The gulf there between Klitschko and Fury is huge and hugely significant.

tyson isnt half as quick as some think, he looks quick against the doeboy types mbut he was slow against cunningham.

wlad is very fast for a SHW, fury could move here and there but he will try to fight fire with fire. havent you seen furys last 10 fights ?

he has a wicked ego he takes in the ring and truly thinks he will beat anyone which is how he fights opponents. thats not going to change vs wlad and when he gets hit cleanly, IF he gets up he will get brutalized.

Do you honestly believe a guy up there in the professional ranks like Fury could not throw a power punch if he really wanted to? Seriously??

And i seem to recall Chisora getting knocked accross the ring by a left hook in the first round.
Just because he didn't commit to power punching , does not mean he can not.

 

Wlad is not confidant enough to bang out power shots against movers like Fury.
Fury must keep circling and keep it long and he can break Wlad down.

 

Wlad couldn't keep his range against Povetkin , in fact he can't against most guys.
He never effectively boxed off the back foot to keep a guys at bay like Fury done last night. Thats footwork.

 

I think people should be very wary of rating Fury's chances based on his fight(s) against Chisora. Wlad and Del Boy couldn't really be much more different. Fury will not look anywhere near as impressive against someone who he doesn't have a massive size advantage over and who also has speed, power and a great jab.

 

Fury isn't even in the same league strength wise as Klitschko. Something I'm sure Chef would confirm. Fury did look impressive last night though.
