why would wlad cowardly choosing to defend against a retiree help me sleep at night? why would wlad chicken dancing all over the place and panicking too cowardly to think like a fighter hel me sleep at night? why would wlad running in fear from a rematch wih a shot2sht retiree help me sleep at night? explain your post, because to me, wlads actual real life actions have nothing to do with how anyone sleeps, except for wlad - he did them, no one else did them.
Tyson stopped a top contender in five rounds but you claim he was clearly slipping since he failed to do it in one? You are hard man to please! Wlad has a very good style to beat Tyson, keeping him at distance with his ramrod jab and good lateral movement and following up with hard right hands and using his superior strenght to tie him up on the inside. The thing is though, to beat Mike you have to be able to take his punch when he lands, and Im not sure if Wlad could do that. Vitali will drop a decision I think, not fast enought to keep Mike at bay but to big and strong to be stopped.
so your reason is that he took 5 rounds to stop a future title holder, during which he got hit? This is the pain game, of course he got hit. Are you mad?
Are you for real? You quoting Lott, is as bad as Mayweather freaks quoting Ellerbe, or Hayman, or Pac****s quoting Arum. Not to be taken seriously at all.
Herol Gee is the biggest bitc.h in all the land!! He talks a bunch of sh!t, then comes back to see everyones reaction while claiming we are all on his ignre list!!! What a pathetic fuc&@!ng LOSER!!! Whos the Champ, *****? Whos the champ?
i kinda agree with you, Vitalii is overrated and alot of his myth is based on pretty poor opposition. he admitted himself after the chisora fight, had chisora been a bit faster he would have beaten him. i can see where your coming from with Wlad, my argument is, Tyson was made to destroy simple 1-2 fighters like Wlad. hs prettyy one dimensional Lewis and Holyfield had more strings to their bow. Then again Wlad wouldn't be fighting that version. Hed be fighting the version that steamrolled Berbick, Biggs, Tubbs and outboxed Tony Tucker.
Mike's probably my favourite fighter but objectively Wladamir poses a very big threat to him stylistically. People underestimate how difficult current day Wladamir is to deal with. I could see him dictating distance with the jab and occasional right hand and using his strength on the inside to shut Mike down, his movement is very good and he also has the left hook to give Mike second thought about recklessly closing distance. He could get a late stoppage. Mike beats Vitali, Vit is too slow and uncoordinated to deal with Mike's movement, Byrd was out boxing Vit and I could see Mike doing the same.I don't think Mike would respect his power and could see a stoppage after multiple kd's.
What I find interesting is that Tyson is pretty much the only fighter that gets NO free pass on being past his prime, detractors seem to think Tyson was as good as he could be from 86 to 2005. Larry losing to Tyson means nothing as he was past it, but Tyson losing to Lennox means Lennox would have easily beat prime Tyson based on this. I guess some other greats have proved more but people take the past prime thing to far. Its clear that he wasnt the same after prison, its just a fact, physically and mentally he was a better fighter in the late 80s, he didnt come back after prison with that same physicality on mental toughness, its clear to see when you watch the tapes. People just jump on the excuse thing straight away when thats not always the case. I like Tyson a lot more against Wald than Vitali, the size difference would be close to freakish.
He's just a fvckwit whose sole purpose on earth is to be abused. That plus he is an anti white racist lump of s.h.i.t.
Alternatively his fanboys continually harp on about a miserable 2 years of his so called prime and try to claim that pathetic amount of time makes him an ATG. Now lets compare him to say Ali, has 3 years as unbeatable, enforced retirement for 3 years, comes back and still wins some great fights up until 76, avenging his defeats.
I agree that the fanatics take things too far as well, he is defiantly one of those fighters where fans take it from one extreme to another. Most people seem to detract from Tyson being a great fighter because his avid fans irritate so much, who wants to defend a guy with idiot fans. He failed miserably in his comeback compared to Ali no doubt about it but that doesn't mean he wasn't a force at this best, some fighters just dont have longevity. He gets seriously punished for his post prison career, and rightly so in most cases but it just irks me when people try to claim its the same fighter when he clearly lost at least half of the qualities that made him what he was in the 80s, getting those physical qualities back in his 30s probably wasn't possible. You have to take into account his mental weakness not to hold it together later in his career but he was pretty stable at his best, not as easily discouraged. Anyway this is going off on a tangent as it always does with Tyson. I think Vitali would be a serious problem for him because Im not convinced he could hurt the bigger fighter due to his decent chin and the size difference against a guy that wasnt without skill would be an issue. At least with Wald he has a very good chance of taking him out if he connects.
he beat DECENT GUYS???? so former ATG HOLMES was JUST DECENT? FORMER CHAMPS,THOMAS,BERBICK,TUBBS,just DECENT? dominant champ SPINKS(after fighting holmes, won both) who tyson crushed,JUST DECENT?! how about the total domination of large, strong, power punching men, smith, ruddock, bruno? JUST DECENT? you should review the opponents of former champs, ali, holmes, frazier, foreman and patterson,THEY HAD PLENTY OF "OPPONENTS" THAT TYSON WOULD HAVE LAUGHED AT. tyson fought every style and size and in his prime, beat them all! PLUS,HE WAS THE YOUNGEST AND REUNITED THE SPLINTERED HEAVYWEIGHT BELT.if that is overrated...........
