Barry Jones is truly the worst commentator of any network

    It is nauseating listening to this man, he constantly contradicts himself, always shows bias, goes on and on about mediocre fighters and performances like they're amazing. The word shill doesn't even begin to describe this guy.

    He actually makes me pine for Jim Watt.

    Didn't rate Barry at first but he's grown on me. The guy who did the some of the international commentaries for Boxnation (Benny Ricardo?) is arguably the worst commentator on anything ever.

    I think he's okay, not great not terrible. The other British guy was worse last night imo.

    No way, Barry Jones takes any atmosphere and excitement in the fight and ruins it. He either sounds bitter or he's bumming whoever means the most to Frank ******.

    Dissapointed with Barry last night getting worked up about Eubank talking to BJS whst was that all about.

    They were both poor last night they'd be raving about a shot BJS landed and miss an equally good shot coming back from JR.

    The buglioni fight was worse. Acting like he pulled off some unheard of skill in landing a left hook going backwards when in actual fact he was a stationary, slow unathletic fighter in with somebody he was supposed to beat. If they reminded me how many tickets he sells one more time....

    I think Barry is the best on any of the channels however he does talk up the home fighter to much

    Barry is by far the best in the UK. The guy has a World Title ffs - think that makes his opinion ever so slightly more credible than yours, ThePioneer!

    I thought billy joe nicked it but the comentators were so anti eubank it wernt even subtle didn't expect anthing different on a f w card

    No it doesn't. Compare him to Paulie Malignaggi/Roy Jones Jr and Antonio Tarver. Paulie and Tarver are very rarely talking absolute rubbish, Barry Jones is of the opinion that ticket sales = skills, having anything other than the hands on the temples at all times as a bad defence and showboating as some sort of sin yet he praised the Prince.
