I was at the fight and though eubank done enough, had saunders legs buckled a couple of times, not a robbery just very close. Awese fight though and furys was a major let down and people walked out.
To be fair as much as I hate the lad, Eubank Jnr showed on saturday that he is a much better fighter than I thought he was. It was a close decision, although the correct one. And I was always worried he could land a big shot on Saunders if he dragged him into a war.

If Chris Eubank Jr was exposed then so was Billy Joe Saunders because he struggled in that fight and won a close split decision. Saunders was the better man but only just. Neither fighter got the dominating win that they wanted.
Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr are the future. He wasn't exactly exposed as a big a fraud as Broner. :deal
To be fair Saunders wasn't saying he'd beat GGG. You're right though the fact that it was close and that Eubank Jr was poor shows that Saunders isn't going far past domestic level. If anything Eubank Jr has areas he can improve but I can't see Saunders getting much better. The question is can or will Eubank Jr be willing to put the work in.
It goes both ways: Saunders stamina dropped in the second half and didn't have power at all - that's when Eubank came in strong. Next time if Eubank start swinging from the start he can find a decent counter because Saunders would be fresh as well. Billy's power is **** but it's enough to keep Eubank from coming in strong from the start. In summary both fighters are not good and would lose to any top 10 MW. I was so funny that Eubank tried shifting all the fcuking time, probably he saw to many GGG fights? I don't know. But he applied shifting even when Saunders was not retreating - and therefore constantly smothered himself all the time. And look at EUbank's balance when he throws his jab - his front foot is behind and the jab is reaching - very poor technique.
If a rematch doesn't happen soon, I don't think it will ever. Can't see these two being in the same weight class for long. The size difference was immense. ( in CEJs favour)!
I think if Saunders was to pick through the tape, he'd see a lot of areas for improvement. If BJS just stuck to boxing, he could've pitched a shut out. Eubank squares up a lot, doesn't set up his attacks and generally leaves himself wide open. I know the Eubanks would like a rematch, but I see why Saunders hasn't completely shut it down. If he gets well paid the second time around, then he could make it a very easy fight.
I don't know about him being a world champ soon but I think he will learn a lot from the loss. It was a close fight between 2 undefeated, potential stars. If Eubank was exposed then so was Saunders. Personally, I think they will both do OK and probably get world title shots in the future.
