Agreed, people sleep on how easily he uses that jab as a defensive tool. He doesn't have to get into exchanges if chooses not to. He will make that Pac vs Algieri fight look like bull**** after/if he gets a chance to fight Provo

How is it a defensive tool? Because he doubles and triples it up and uses it as a range finder out of the southpaw stance so when he feels his opponent encroaching he can rotate?

Beltran managed to hit him multiple times as Crawford was becoming predictable with his arm punch jab.

At the end of the day an arm punch jab is an arm punch no matter what angle he throws it from.

An arm punch is not going to discourage Provo. Provo is only getting better and he's dealt with a guy that has quick feet, great stamina, height, and reach, so he has experience there.

Crawford is not ready for Provo. They can put him in with Provo, but it will be one hell of a war.

Would you line up to fight Provo?

    Who wants to fight him?

You think Bradley wants to fight him again?

Excuses excuses. I'm not saying Pacquiao or Bradley, but anyone but Castilo.

Why would someone fight Provo? He doesn't have a belt. Can you name a fighter who hasn't got their ass beat in a fight with him?

Even when Provo loses, his opponent takes an ass beating.

Why would someone want to get in the ring with a guy like that if they didn't have to?

It's up to his promoter to PAY someone to man up and get in the ring with him, so he puts on a fight for the fans.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I see the upside in Crawford everyone is talking about. He needs to work on his punching technique. He throws too many damn arm punches, which in addition to being not fan friendly, will put him in a lot of fights where it will be a war of attrition as long as his opponent is well conditioned.

I suppose Arum could put Crawford in with Provo, but I doubt he'll do it right away if that is his intention. Right now, Provo may very well stop Crawford.

I wouldn't say that only because so far, Crawford has shown one hell of a chin, so he could potentially arm punch his way to victory like Algieri.

But a win is a win. Won't be easy though, and he'll definitely take punishment.

No problem at all. I think you're rating this guy too highly without having seen him fight at 140.

There are some big guns at 140.

All biased aside (mainly the illusion of biased being screamed at the moutatian tops everytime an EE fighter is not picked as the potential winner) I'd have to favor TC going in though I wouldnt be completely confident since the guy has not operated at the 140lbs level. TC is not only supremely talented his also hungry, gritty and tuff as nails...the intangibles are all there.
