The Daily Star are reporting that Frank wants Fury/Wlad at Wembley next summer. Two issues with this- isn't Mick still Fury's promoter and would Frank be able to handle the logistics of a Wembley Stadium fight?
I still recall dear old Bruno selling out Wembley for McCall, just a shame Wlad is a league above that dude.
fury is not loved enough by the british public to fill wembley , the card would have to be the strongest ever for it to sell out .
If the fight isn't on sky or bbc/itv it won't get anywhere near the publicity required, then again after the shambles at the excel I doubt wembley would want to get involved
Wlad is one of the few fighters who can sell out a stadium on his own so he doesn't need this. As the champion he will not give up 'home' advantage.
Start with Vlad will not give up home advantage , and to fight in England who could blame him ,, Secondly he would probably want paying up front or at least the dosh put in a account ,, and who could blame him Third and most important I doubt if Fury really wants to fight him , and if he does , he's gonna meet a guy closer to his own size , a guy who has good movement , good jab and a dig big enough to hurt . Fury will talk , posture , call everyone names and only push for the fight when the cameras are on him , other than that he'll wait for Vlad to retire , or until he has no choice and has to grab a shot before Joshua gets one . There not stupid they can see he's only looking good with guys a lot smaller .
Won't happen unless fury is desperate for a payday and a beating. That fight with Ustinov gained a lot of interest in such a short time I reckon fury fights him next defending the euro belt and then maybe another defence against pulev if he can't get the wilder/stiverne winner.
Doesn't mean he'll fight either. He has the mandatory position, they'll not risk that vs a live, credible opponent.
