The point of stats and ko percentages being meaningless completely went over your head. You said I knew nothing about boxing if I didn't think Vitali was a master boxer. Are you going to back up that statement or not?
But how was he throwing the highest number of jabs late in the fight if he had a torn shoulder ligament? You want to dismiss Fury's excuse being weak and bed bound before the fight , but then expect to be taken seriously when you put forward a clearly bogus injury excuse for Vitali If im hating on Vitali , surely that would mean , you're hating on Fury? Grow up child.
Means very little considering his opponents and the style of KOs. Vitali was always more a of an accumulation puncher. He's not even the hardest puncher in his own family.:yep And let's stop with this one arm non-sense that gets spouted. We hear this from the Klit nuthuggers about the Byrd fight where Vitali QUIT too. It's simply not true. With your own eyes, watch the fights and tell me if he was fighting with one arm.
Vitali was a 40 y/o man fighting with one arm FFS and he still handily beat Deb boy. And we all saw the presser afterwards, I don't recall Vitali looking like he'd been in a war. Fury is still a long way short of being Vitali class.
Fury beat up a shot, post Haye Chisora who quit after round 1 telling his corner "my legs aren't working" and people are pretending this guy is a master boxer.
Shot?? How was he shot? Was he coming off a loss? Was he shot when he blew Kingpin onto the floor for the first time in his career only this year? Was he not on a 5 fight win streak and in the best shape of his life?
Tyson Fury unanimous decision. Just compare their commont opponents. Fury looked better than Vitali in beating Kevin Jhonson. And Fury looked better... in taking Chisora's 0 the first time they fought. Later on Vitali faced Chisora and was hurt in the later rounds. Wladimir had to keep him upright from collapsing after the final bell. Look at the videos, Vitali is really stumbling, gassed and hurt. Wladimir hugs him (he has some practice in it) and keeps him up. And last week, ury looked like he was a fine technician, and vitali an unskilled brawler. In spite of being bigger, he was lighter on his feet, moved around more, and did this all from the southpaw stance after the first round.
Depends if Vitali has kept himself inshape while doing his politcal stuff, if he is still fit then i would go for Vitali.
But the point of this thread isn't prime to prime. Its actual Vitali vs actual Fury. And actual Fury would win. You can argue it is a pointless thread, but the fact is Fury looked better against common opposition and than Vitali's old form.
Current Vitali's knees are completely shot. A mobile vitali would win, one with no legs? Sorry, He's a sitting duck.
