ali wasnt one dimensional he had defense footwork speed and power and beat up a bigger stronger foreman, thats not one dimensional, thats an all around great fighter. one dimensional means that a fighter only relies on one main weapon in his fights. wether it would be just power or back peddling or a slugger
Ive never been a fan of Pacquiao and im no hater either but the truth is, Pacquiao was and still is a one dimensional fighter.. When I think of Boxer-Punchers, Pacquiao is surely not a fighter that comes to mind.. Pac is one dimensional..
LMFAO @ Pacquiao being this well rounded fighter .. lol multi-dimensional fighters dont lose balance every other second and dive in face first.. Pacquiao is just a blessed fighter with speed, that's all.. He's not that skilled..
Once again, people who think Floyd has "always" been a safety first fighter need to watch his fights at 130-140.
Pacquiao is one of the most complex fighters in the sport today! a one dimensional fighter is easy to predict and easy to control, but with Pacquiao as many of his opponents have said they saw stuff on tape that they thought they could exploit but when your in the ring with him its very different. Pacquiao can hit hard with both hands, good head movement and footwork, now we see him boxing more, and being less reckeless, he gets his combinations off then gets out of range, and then there is the angles Pacquiao uses, long story short anyone who thinks Pacquiao is one dimensional really doesnt know what they are talking about
bottom line is floyd hates to fight every fighter who has faced him says this marquez himself says mayweather likes to run and is very defensive and doesnt like to fight which will be his downfall if he fights pac because to beat pac you need to get to the gates of hell and TAKE PUNISHMENT YOU CAN NOT BEAT PAC WITHOUT TAKING SERIOUS PUNISHMENT
Pacquiao's also predictable with his combinations. It's always right jab, right jab, then straight left.
