Sergey Ekimov is a 30 year old 6'1 Light Heavyeight with a 14-0 8 KO's record. Born in Tynda, Russia and fighting out of Balashikha, Russia which is a small town in Moscow Olast right off the legendary Vladimir Highway which leads to Siberia. I don't know anything about Ekimov other than the matches I've watched and from what I've seen he's pretty good. Don't let the low KO ratio fool you either, most of his early fights were 4 rounders and since his matches have gotten longer his KO's have increased, so he tends to wear down guys over the course of the match as opposed to sensational KO power, but he's KO's have been fairly consistent lately. He's rangy very awkward almost fights in a Muay Thai stance at times, but he's pretty good at slipping punches and his straight right is powerful he varies up his offense he has looping body shots and a good uppercut. So Check another Light Heavyweight Russian named Sergey not as good as Kovalev but not bad either.:toney:toney:toney:toney Educate Yourselves Ekimov Vs.
