How bad would Pacquiao have beaten Marquez in 2009?

    The Pacquiao from the Hatton or the Cotto fight against the Marquez who fought Mayweather,,... We all just have to agree that Marquez in the '09 would just take a brutal beating and probably end up being stopped via T/KO,,... The question is, how much punishment can Marquez take before he gets stopped??? I seriously doubt he can last full 12 rounds,,...

    Because he last 12 rounds with Mayweather, who just came out from retirement right??? Got both of his feet swept 5 feet upwards by a left hook to the jaw while doing so,,... Also, got his face marked up in the process,,... Mayweather must be a hard-hitter,,... :patsch

    Yeah because he has fighting the likes of Oscar dela Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley,,... While Marquez was busy struggling with the likes of Casamayor, Katsidis and Diaz,,... Great! Pacquiao gave Marquez a ticket to the big stage when he first fought him in the featherweight division,,... When Morales and Barrera did not bother,,... Fought him again in the super featherweight division, and twice in welterweight division,,... Pacquiao gave it to Marquez when Marquez needs it,,...

    Pacquiao decided to counter the counter puncher,,... Pacquiao was boxing his ears off on the third fight,,.. Marquez ate a lot of right hooks,,... KO6 was voted as fluke of the decade,,... I wouldn't be surprised if it'll go down as fluke of the century,,...

    He probably gets knocked out or probably goes the distance .

    Marquez knows Manny SO WELL and Vice Versa .

    He knows how to withstand Manny .

    that arab undefeated dude has a better ko ratio then golvokin its who you fight and how good their chins are

    bottom line is everyone who fought both pac mayweather said pac hits much harder and is faster then mayweather dot you or know more then jmm or mosley for example?

    They both went 12 rounds with both fighters.
    Actually Marquez went 36 rounds with Pac and KO'd him in the 4th.

    Any difference in punching power is clearly minimal

    Same as always, would have been a really close fight. Pac would never have it easy with JMM and vice versa.

    if mayweather fought marquez 4 times then we can compare let marquez have 4 cracks at him

    its more logical to compare the first fights

    mayweather was not going for the kill against marquez and got a UD

    pac vs marquez 1 pac nearly got marquez out of their by round 1 knocked him down 3 times and if the ref stopped the fight no one would complain
