    Sonny Liston had very long arms, pictures show that.

    But you lose reach inches when you have to punch up.
    I think Cleveland Williams and Cassius Clay were both 2 or 3 inches taller, and they stood quite straight. Clay even leaned back from punches.

    Very good. I have been saying this for years. You do lose inches as you punch upwards which is why height can be as important as reach.
