I just checked the Cosmospolitan for tickets - it looks like Andy Lee fight is sold out. I might go to the MGM card instead and cheer on Devon Alexander.

So Korobov was a top amateur. Big deal. Andy Lee was a top amateur too, Einstein. Their failure to shine as pros just shows the difference between pro and am boxing.
As far as Korobov being undefeated, yes he won that ONE pro fight I saw him in, but he still managed to leave me completely underwhelmed. In fact he looked so bad I honestly think Andy maybe, just maybe, could beat him on that form.

Undefeated? Ha! BJSs last 4 victims in a row were undefeated coming in too, as I recall. Means nothing.
In any case whichever wins between Lee and Korobov will be just a caretaker champ .....keeping the title warm for Billy Joe in the new year.

Either of Korborov or Lee handily beats the guy that fought Eubank on Saturday.

Lee was a top amateur but korobov was an elite amateur and alot better than lee.

i fancy Korobov to win against Lee and id give BJS a 10 percent chance of beating Korobov

him vs Lee would be a 50 -50 fight

Let me get this right....you're saying that Andy Lee..who has struggled badly against the likes of the French welterweight, Anto Fitz, Jackson Junior etc in HIS last few fights would 'handily beat' BJS - who has won a string of 12-rounders against much better opposition - (some of them undefeated coming in), in a row over the same time period? :yikes

I dont know what to say....

Come on....please tell me thats a typo, and that Im misreading you here, and not your actual opinion...

yes it is, Lee is a a bigger than him, a technically gifted boxer ,can match bjs in that department and is a bigger puncher

we just saw BJS going life and death with a guy who had no skills what so ever, he s****ed past Ryder and we don't know if his ready for world level

if Lee beats Korobov he will be favorite to beat BJS and rightly so

Could we at least wait until after the lad's upcoming world title fight to pass judgement on Andy's career? :patsch
