I kind of want this fight because it will show the world how overrated Joshua really is. Fury would shut him out at this point. Fury is proven world class, Joshua is not.
Why the hell would Fury **** his pants at the thought of fighting a hype job with only 10 fights against tomato cans, when Fury has already fought at world class for years?
It's like ppl have forgotten how luck Joshua was to win his gifted Olympic gold medal He 100% lost to the Brazilian guy in the first round, arguably lost to Ivan Dychko, and by all accounts lost to Roberto Camerelle. I understand the amateur game is different than the pro game, but what else do we have to base aj's future on? Knocking out 10 bums? Remember what happened to Eubank jr when he stepped up after destroying all those random bums?
totally off the mark here mate, firs tof all he lost to the Cuban Erislandy Savon in the first round, who is a great boxer in his own right he might have lost to cammerelle in the final but he beat him at the world championships the year before and came within a point of winning the whole tournament against the home favorite and beat qualit fighters on his way to the final he had a very short an extremely successful amateur career and to compare his amateur career to eubank jrs is idiotic
Exactly. Fury is way too seasoned and skilled at this point for Joshua. Anything that Joshua has experienced, Fury has experienced at a higher level. Any skill that Joshua has, Fury has tested and won against much greater opposition. Fury's skillset is actually vast in every area inside the ring and Joshua hasn't shown anything like that yet.
It's boxing. Anything can happen. Risking a big payday against Wladimir, who Fury matches up style-wise well against, for much smaller money vs Joshua is a bad move. What does beating Joshua get Fury?
Sky Sports would be beating down Fury's door if he beats Wladimir. I think Fury is a tough style (and size) match for Wlad and would have a real shot if he came in top shape. I think risking that on AJ doesn't make the best career sense, but I'd love to see Joshua and Fury fight.
blinded by hate. haye underwent career-threatening surgery, remind me why fury vacated rather than fight price again?
