I remember doing a shift on the doors at the Hilton hotel in gateshead after the Stuey Hall vs. Paul Butler fight and he was staying there so he can't be dong too bad.
He's a pro boxer, living the dream in a different country, probably living with the Fury's, getting paid for sparring and getting a few grand for his fights and boxnation punditary as well. Factor in the fact that for his fight with Klitschko he probably made more than the average gut makes in 5 years and the fact that he will have other big fights in the future my guess is that he's doing fine.
In the past the Fury camp have talked about rebuilding him to get him into big fights again but now I'm starting to think they are using hime for cheap sparring for Tyson and Huey - which is sad as he did once have decent promise. The guy isn't a ticket seller here or in the US.
Eddie is in the "who wants him" club. Hes skilled, tough and proven and although he hasn't been tested this past year he has been active and will be sharp. All he has to do is continue being active and he will get up there in the rankings. I will say though he still needs to pick up his punch output. I watched his fight against Darch in the arena and if he'd let his hands go he could have stopped him earlier. Seemed to be loading up with big shots rather than just letti g them go to land.
Maybe Furys are promising him big things and he has no other options but slowly it seems as if they will not invest any $ in him so he will find it hard without a top 15 ranking and an awkward style to get the big cash opportunities.
Yeh and he goes around in the pick up with his wife and kids stuffed in the front seat ringing the bell to alert everyone hes come to pick up there washing machines.
