The fight is going to sell just as much as it did in 2010. Casuals know the names, and talk of the fight is all over the media.

In fact the rumored guarantees are double what they were in 2010. So in a way Mayweather was right to duck, terrible for the sport as it might have been.

They can fight 6 times and it would do great business.

What makes Floyd-Manny so intriguing is that Floyd has the style to beat Manny, and vice versa.

 

No, I've always been objective about Manny & Floyd, (in real life), on the forum though its easy to take sides with whatever fanbase you believe is less re****ed. I haven't been on this as much, so Im not really in the whole "fanwars" thing.

 

I can't wait for both of them to retire. I'm tired of the Mayweather-Pacquiao soap opera dominating the news.

I don't think that they're hurting financially because of it (if they end up broke, then they always were going to end up broke), that it would sell less today, or the dumbass public has wised up to paying for their fights. I think in regards to Algieri that Pacquiao vs a feather fisted no-name will always be a hard sell.

Obviously the fight was mega huge back then. both in there primes. Mayweather just came back from short retirement. Pac destroyed DLH, Hatton and Cotto, fight was at its peak!

Now in 2015 both are not in there primes and i get that. so if you want to say it would've been bigger because of that you can but check this out.

Have you seen how crazy its got on social media?? PPl think Mayweather is truly scared and has been for 5 years. PPL saying he still wont sign in 2015....I think mayweather banked in more PPv's then 2010.

Some tend to say its died oput but it hasnt one bit. EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD WANTS TO SEE THIS FIGHT AND WANT TO SEE IT NOW! I think it would've did 3 mil buys in 2010 and will do 3 mil buys easy in 2015. Mayweather is a true buissness man. And if you think Pac anit playing the game YOU WRONG!! Im sure this fight is signed our so close it will happen in 2015. I mean lets get serious here. Pac is actually posting stuff on facebook and Instagram dissing Floyd?? Mayweather was dissing him before his bradley fight...Man they've been promoting this forever.

Mayweather is a true business man...yeah sure. The guy doesn't even know how to read. I'd pay to watch him try to read and UNDERSTAND the clauses that are written in a contract. The guy is good at boxing but that's it. He is a bad person, and not the smartest one, in a quest for some attention...

 

If they fight on May 2nd, I would watch Canelo Cotto instead.

april would make the most business sense. he would get a drop on the ppv fund of all boxing fans. some fans set aside only so much money for fights and he would be getting first crack at it.
