Id say Hamed after Morales.

Hamed was much more accomplished than the rest, i mean he was the undefeated, undisputed FW champ and had been the number 1 for about 5 years.

That is a very good scalp.

If its a very good scalp for Barrerra, then give Hamed credit and admit he was a very good fighter.

I recently posted an old interview in which MAB called Hamed a 'great fighter' more than once.

By some orders of magnitude.

 

When Hamed can get in we know it is weak. The new rules also are going to help a lot of borderline guys that haven't been making it get in. Kinda cheapens it if you ask me.

 

Hows Hamed weakened it?

He was the best FW for about 5 years, he wasnt just some titlist.

And he also happens to be MABS best win outside Morales.

 

Regarding Bowe, its amazing how he can fight in the second most talent packed era of heavyweight history and the only recognisable names on his resume are Holyfield and Golota.

 

Many are going to be against Hamed being inducted into the IBHOF simply because he had a very dislikable personality and he was humiliated in his last outing against Barrera, but if you look at the body of work he did in his division he is worthy inductee.

 

Alot better than Barry Bloody Mcguigan!

Even if we take away Hameds body of work, he still deserves the HOF.
I mean for a time he was one of most famous boxers on the planet.
What Floyd does now, Hamed was doing nearly 20 years ago.

And secondly, the Barrerra fight wasnt Hameds last outing, he fought after that, but he looked poor and retired and still won the IBO FW title

 

Because of some of the guys already in I can't complain too much. But Bowe and Mancini would not have gotten my vote.
Bowe in particular has an incredibly soft record for his era. That is the most deceiving one loss record around. He should have been disqualified against Mathis, I felt he lost to Tubbs and Golota beat the stuffing out of him. Them you factor in these names:

The list goes on- all guys Bowe didn't fight
