Richie Woodhall. Scott Harrison. Burns was/is a nice guy and always has a smile for everyone. Even with a broken jaw he had a laugh. ****ing Idiots on here giving Burns unfair **** as usual.
Solaris Burns has a reputation as being an absolute gem to his fans and he's alway's smiling. He has a lot of banter with Billy and the fans and he just cant take face off's serious. He would often laugh or try to keep from laughing during face off's at pessers. He isn't the best talker in front of the camera sometimes but he had a laugh with Kugan from Ifilm more than a few times. Ricky does repeats himself every fight interview. He has a set speach. We all cant be off the cuff witty/sarcy or badass like Ali, Tyson, Duran or Mallignagi. Thats ****s natural. Scotland do have an am that just turned pro (the comy gold winner from Glasgow) he looks like he will be very popular and funny. I wish him well. If he shows he can box/fight with power then he will be pushed to s****om by Hearns very quickly. Mark my words. The Edinburgh lad who won gold was a better boxer though. He was sheer class at times and imo has been overlooked in favour of the funny Glasgow character.
Honestly, what a load of ****. Watch a Ricky Burns interview, it's ****ing tedious to say the least. He's a really nice guy, I won't dispute that, but he's as dull as dishwater. You're Scottish and therefore incapable of being impartial so don't bother talking to me about this.
No. He is probably the MOST charismatic as a character. A top guy and a real entertainer. I never thought his more talented{though Johnny had plenty} stablemate Nazim had a great deal of it. I never liked his attitude, and couldn't stand the fake American accent he used to put on. Fury does the same thing, doesn't need to as he has a fair bit of charisma. On a par with Johnny is Ricky Hatton. Said he'd have gone in Prizefighter if Pacman wasn't in it.
Any man who has time for their fans is not boring. I admit his interviews at pressers are the same **** repeated over and over but I've seen interviews with him having a laugh when the subjects off boxing. I'm not saying he's a ****ing comedian but he enjoys a bit of banter with fans and gym mates. Some people are just uncomfortable infront of a camera. He is far from dull mate. Dull is a person who never talks or smiles. Look up the definition of uncharasmatic[emoji106]
If we are 'merely' talking about alphabet titles, Paul Weir won two of them inside his first ten fights, yet struggled to be a household name in his own house.
Yeah i forgot about Quigg he seems very dull. I think its where he comes across as so thick he struggles to get sentences out. So a joke would seem to far beyond him. Saying this though he does come across as a nice guy just a bit simple
