Manny can spend just as much bribing the referee as Floyd so no

You dont have a clue dont you?

The slower the pace, the more that benefits Mayweather.

A fighter with Pacquiao's style cant give Mayweather a chance to think.
Its just like Nacho Beristain said about Pacquiao's evolution and becoming a better boxer, "Pacquiao being a better boxer means it gets easier for Marquez to handle him."

The same will go for Mayweather, the less of a wildcat Pacquiao becomes and he's not nearly as herky jerky wild as he used to be, the less of a problem he becomes especially to a fighter like Mayweather who's never stepped in the ring with him.

It will be a more interesting fight. Floyd is definitely more stationary and hittable these days, not that it would have really mattered before.

Mayweather will want the fight on the inside. Pac doesn't fight well in the pocket against fighters who are quick and have defensive abilities.

Pac doesn't hit low or rabbit punch, etc, so I don't suspect a case of Floyds' last two fights where probably one third of the punches Maidana threw were going to be non-scoring and against the rules if they landed.

110 million dollars to Floyd and rumors of 70+ million for Pack might be too much for them to pass up... Lets hope, anyways.

Mayweather will get his ass beat if he tries to fight on the inside.

Mayweather typically lunges, ie steps forward with his right foot while keeping his left foot planted, in order to land that straight punch against southpaw opponents and get on the inside momentarily before clinching or resetting.

I'm with you Nonito. I would love Mayweather to use this style against Pacquaio. Pacquaio fans will go NUTS!!!

Because Mayweather will catch one hell of an ass beating trying to utilize that strategy.

    Pacquaio's feet are too fast.

Even non fast twitch muscle, couldn't even do a single pull up, Guerrero, was able to time Mayweather with those left uppercuts.

    Pacquaio will dice him up.

Mayweather needs to be on his wheels for this one.

Honestly, when he's against the ropes, he won't have time to look at the ref. Manny is too fast, and he doesn't smother his punches.

Who here has contributed and posted in threads where there was good debate in, only to have the thread pulled and joined in the Mayweather-Pacquiao Express thread, halting the flow of the thread and stopping the debate alltogether?

I understand mods wanting to limit threads being opened up on the same topic, but what they've been doing for months and months now is moving threads that talked about a specific subject that relates to Mayweather and Pacquiao and joining it in a general thread going over 61,000 posts.

Members browsing the forum topics have no idea whats being debated in the current moment in tha Express thread, why would they even hit on the thread if you have to read through several pages to even find out whats going on?

I've set up a poll, vote to have mods get rid of that disaster of a thread, or vote and say that you like that Express thread as it stands.

One thread is enough for a hypothetical matchup IMO. Let them sign to fight and then we can go nuts.

OK I just read the rumor this fight is supposed to be announced this month as a Xmas present to the fans. If not true then I say we send them both a lump of coal from the forum.;)

the longer this negotiation takes, the more it appears that floyd is being dragged into this fight, kicking and screaming and throwing roadblocks. pac has just about said he's willing to do whatever it takes for floyd to get in the ring with him.
