So according to my sources, there are contracts being worked out for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao bout. The fight is to be announced this month as a “Christmas gift” to boxing fans.

Rematch clause catch:

If Floyd wins, Floyd has the option to rematch or to walk away from a 2nd fight. If Manny Pacquiao wins he has to have a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, but if Pacquiao loses there is no rematch unless Floyd Mayweather Jr. chooses to have it.

I think the thinking is there's more going on in the sport than spamming up the page over a fight that may never even happen, than Floyd and Pac fans rehashing the same stale arguments or even just trolling.

 

Thats not whats going on. Current events related to Mayweather and Pacquiao are being dumped into this ****hole of a thread.
If you cant discuss specific issues that relate to this fight that currently is being negotiated, then why is this forum still up?
They should just close it down and get it over with as this forum is losing more and more members by the day.

he also said he'd take less money then hard negotiated for a 50/50 so he can say one thing to the public but we don't really know what's going on behind closed doors. Let's wait for a bit before jumping to conclusions. Hell if the fight is made, they'll be fighting in May for sure. We might be waiting for 2.5 months before something is formally announced. That would give them time to do city tours then the usual 8 week camp.

Also FYI my activity on this board had already greatly decreased prior to Pacquiao getting knocked out if you have not noticed. JMM deserves all the accolades in the world and I take nothing away from him. Im sure you probably scored that fight 4-1 for JMM just before the knock out though.

Pac has slow down considerably, He ain't got a chance to KO or beat Floyd.

Floyd would beat PAc 10 out of 10.
