    Mancunian?

Why are you so incapable of discussing Ricky's career rationally?

    - 'History being re-written again I see.

Burns won a VACANT world title. He didn't beat a champion to win it.

Honestly, is there an intelligent Sweaty Sock on here? '

thats what we are debating. that last sentence really makes me chuckle. What a kn0b you are. Good day. :hi:

    LW defences
    Moses ex world champ
Mitchell the best England had lol
Gonzalez No1 ranked guy he was class
Beltran would have got what Crawford gave him if not for injury
    Crawford will become P4p soon
In comparison to some current champions it outstanding resume

Fair enough - I accept your acknowledgement.

    See it's not difficult.

When you're wrong you're wrong and when you're right you're right.

As for the original post i think ricky needs a couple more fights before going in with the top guys again, but if gets offered a big fight i dont blame him if he took it. I cant see him beating any of the current world champs

I don't agree with Solaris' opinion the vast majority of times.

However he's entitled to his opinion as much as you are and I am.

What nobody is entitled to do is claim that their opinion is superior and that there opinion is actual fact.

It is not a fact that Ricky never beat a proper world champion - he beat Roman Martinez.

It is Solaris' opinion that Ricky's LW defense were "disgraceful".
    This is just his opinion.
Obviously it's not an opinion that you or agree with him on.

However on fair reflection MY OPINION is that Ricky was losing to Gonzalez, should not have got the decision over Beltran and was outclassed by Crawford.

See Solaris these are my opinions - I am not claiming these to be facts.

Whats happened to gonzales? He looked like a future star till he gassed out. Great skills and power. Now nothing?

yes he was losing to Gonzalez but when your opponent doesn't want to fight on you win.
Beltran was a fluke end of
Crawford on that night was pure class I agree

For the record Burns looked decent in his last fight with Billy, AFTER the Gonzales fight. I thought Burns put in a decent efort against Crawford who looked a different level on the weekend and as Billy preddicted won every round against Gonzales.
